EV DC Charger Cabinet Frames to your design
Order the structural frame for your EV DC charging power cabinet. REALJET fabricates the frame to locate power-module bays, outer panels and base connections in the equipment layout you provide.
Choose the part and delivery condition
| Your order | Information that sets the scope |
|---|---|
| Cabinet frame | Frame geometry, sections and weld details |
| Frame with module-bay supports | Module-zone layout and attachment drawings |
| Frame prepared for outer panels | Panel and door interfaces with required finished condition |
Supply is the structural cabinet frame and listed attachments. Charging modules, controls, connectors, dispensers and electrical certification are outside the frame scope unless separately agreed.
Fit it to the equipment around it
Power-module bays, service panels and the cabinet base need a common set of datums. Include the module envelope, installation route and base fixings. For outdoor equipment, identify the finish and panel interfaces required by the enclosure design.
| Intended installation | Equipment interface to supply |
|---|---|
| EV charging equipment | DC charging power cabinet for electric vehicles |
Plan the manufacturing around these features
The steps below are proposed for the drawing review. Your material, geometry and acceptance requirements determine the final route, tooling and inspection provision.
Locate module bays and base connections
Review the cabinet datum scheme, member preparation and panel attachment points against the power-module arrangement.
Review frame joining
Plan tack-up, weld access and restraint with particular attention to tall module bays. Inspect geometry after release from the fixture.
Prepare the enclosure interfaces
Review any mounting-interface machining and the finish for the installation environment. Frame fabrication and completed outdoor-enclosure qualification remain separate scopes.
Manufacturing capability for your component
| Your component feature | Existing process and its use | Confirm for your order |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet frame and module-bay supports | Plate preparation, CNC bending and welded fabrication. Locate module bays and base/panel attachments from the cabinet datums before joining. | Fixture arrangement and free-state bay geometry. |
| Mounting features | Drilling, boring, tapping and assembly coordination. Review the drawing-defined attachment features after welding and before final module fitting. | Machining access, panel/module dummies and measurement reach. |
| Outdoor-equipment finish where specified | Phosphating, powder coating and painting routes. Review finish and protected contact areas for the intended installation environment. | Coating requirements and complete-cabinet testing; no charging certification is inferred. |

The established welding workshop and large-part finishing routes are relevant to the cabinet skeleton. Module fitting and service access follow the charging-equipment layout.
Define what the first article must demonstrate
| Feature | Proposed check | Record to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Bay and base geometry | Measure bay width/position and base attachments from common datums, with support and free-state condition recorded. | Bay/base dimensions and setup. |
| Panels and service access | Fit nominated panels or fixtures and trial module entry/removal with an approved dummy. | Panel-gap/fit checklist and module dummy revision. |
| Finish and complete-cabinet tests | Inspect specified finish and masked features; review separate routes for structural or enclosure tests in the specified assembly condition. | Finish record and separately agreed test plan/report. |
Identify the drawing revision, measurement datums and pass/fail limits before the sample is made. The quote confirms the available measuring setup, any mating fixture and whether a specialist test needs an external provider.
Packing for your next assembly step
Confirm the frame orientation, lifting points and installed attachments for shipment. Include the destination so packing size and any local panel assembly can be reviewed. State the quantity and delivery city so packing volume and the requested delivery terms can be included.
Questions before you send drawings
Should the frame be inspected with its panels pulling it into shape?
The delivered frame condition and panel fit should be distinguished. The review defines where free-state geometry is required, then checks that the specified panels and modules fit without concealing frame misalignment.
Can the frame suit a modular DC charging layout?
Yes. Provide the power-module arrangement, outer-panel interfaces and service clearances. Each cabinet variant follows its approved drawing.
What should I send for the drawing review?
Send the dimensioned PDF, available STEP/DXF/DWG files and assembly view. Include material, finish, quantity, delivery city and drawing revision. Mark the features in the inspection plan that control acceptance.
Can we approve a sample before ordering repeat quantities?
Request a sample or pilot batch with the agreed dimensional report and any mating checks. Scope, timing and test provision are quoted after review; repeat supply follows the accepted drawing revision and any agreed sample changes.
