Pump Mounting Plates to your design
Order the metal mounting plate between your cooling pump and base frame. REALJET manufactures the profile, reinforcement and specified machined seating areas from your pump-foot and equipment drawings.
Choose the part and delivery condition
| Your order | Information that sets the scope |
|---|---|
| Mounting plate | Plate profile, pump-foot pattern and frame attachment |
| Plate with reinforcement | Reinforcement drawing and joining requirements |
| Plate with finished seating areas | Datums, surface requirements and hole tolerances |
Supply is the plate and agreed reinforcement or hardware. The pump, isolators and pipework are separate unless listed in the order. Vibration isolation and pump-system design are defined by your equipment specification.
Fit it to the equipment around it
Show the pump feet and base-frame interface on the same datum scheme. Identify any isolator positions and the clearance needed for fasteners and maintenance. AI cooling CDUs and battery thermal-management units may require different pumps and support arrangements.
| Intended installation | Equipment interface to supply |
|---|---|
| AI equipment | AI cooling CDU pump assembly |
| Battery storage equipment | Energy-storage temperature-control pump assembly |
Plan the manufacturing around these features
The steps below are proposed for the drawing review. Your material, geometry and acceptance requirements determine the final route, tooling and inspection provision.
Separate locating and clearance holes
Review the pump-foot and frame connections, seating areas and any isolator provision. Identify which holes locate the pump and which only admit fasteners.
Join reinforcement before final seats where needed
If reinforcement is welded, review the weld sequence and the condition in which the seating plane is machined. Machining order follows the datum scheme and drawing.
Finish faces and holes
Review milling of specified seating faces and drilling/boring of defined hole features. Protect machined contacts during the quoted surface-treatment route.
Manufacturing capability for your component
| Your component feature | Existing process and its use | Confirm for your order |
|---|---|---|
| Plate and reinforcement | Plate preparation and welded fabrication. Prepare the plate and join any reinforcement before final seating-area work where the datum scheme requires it. | Material, joining sequence and machining allowance. |
| Seating faces and holes | Machining, drilling, boring and tapping. Machine the specified seating faces and hole features, with final machining after reinforcement joining where the datum scheme requires it. | Usable machine envelope, flatness/position limits and seating-plane inspection setup. |
| Delivered surfaces | Surface treatment and deburring. Protect finished seats and hole edges through the selected finish and packing route. | Masked surfaces and coating restrictions at pump contacts. |

Drilling, boring, tapping and assembly form part of REALJET’s machining route. For this plate, the drawing review establishes machine access, the required seating-face finish and the inspection setup.
Define what the first article must demonstrate
| Feature | Proposed check | Record to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Seating plane | Inspect the required flatness or relative pad heights using a setup suitable for the datum scheme and part size; confirm its availability before quoting. | Pad/plane results, support condition and instrument/method. |
| Pump-foot pattern | Measure hole sizes and datum-based positions. Trial-fit with the pump-foot template or part if included. | Dimensional hole report and separate fit result. |
| Frame and isolator arrangement | Check fixing access and specified isolator locations. Any load/vibration test requires its own approved arrangement. | Mounting checklist and separately agreed test report. |
Identify the drawing revision, measurement datums and pass/fail limits before the sample is made. The quote confirms the available measuring setup, any mating fixture and whether a specialist test needs an external provider.
Packing for your next assembly step
Protect machined seating areas and hole edges. Use supports that prevent handling damage to the pump interface and keep the finished faces away from packing straps. State the quantity and delivery city so packing volume and the requested delivery terms can be included.
Questions before you send drawings
Should the seating faces be machined before reinforcement is welded?
The review considers whether joining can change the seating plane. Where the drawing requires a finished plane after welding, the proposed route places the relevant machining and final measurement after the joining operation.
Can you machine the pump seating faces?
Face machining and hole machining can be reviewed from your drawing. Specify the datums, finish and dimensional limits so the machining and inspection scope can be quoted.
What should I send for the drawing review?
Send the dimensioned PDF, available STEP/DXF/DWG files and assembly view. Include material, finish, quantity, delivery city and drawing revision. Mark the features in the inspection plan that control acceptance.
Can we approve a sample before ordering repeat quantities?
Request a sample or pilot batch with the agreed dimensional report and any mating checks. Scope, timing and test provision are quoted after review; repeat supply follows the accepted drawing revision and any agreed sample changes.
