Drawing-based fuel tank fabrication

Machinery fuel tanks often combine a constrained installation envelope with defined capacity, mounting, filling, venting and outlet requirements. Realjet provides contract manufacturing for fabricated tanks when customers supply authorised drawings, material specifications and validation criteria.

The representative tank shown was manufactured under recorded authorisation. Its formed shell, welded seams, lifting features and connection details illustrate the production scope available for industrial and construction machinery components. Final suitability for a fuel type or machine is governed by the customer's design, applicable requirements and approved test plan.

Production and quality scope

The process can include plate cutting, bending, fabrication of internal or external details, fixture assembly, controlled welding, port preparation, leak testing, surface treatment and final inspection. Machining or thread finishing is applied where the drawing requires accurate connection interfaces.

Important control items include:

  • correct material, thickness and component traceability;
  • overall dimensions and mounting-point position;
  • weld continuity and agreed leak-test results;
  • filler, vent, drain and outlet interface conformity;
  • internal cleanliness before closure and shipment;
  • specified paint or powder-coating condition.
