Tubular lattice jib structures made to drawing
Crane jib arms depend on consistent lattice geometry, controlled welded joints and accurate end connections. Realjet provides contract manufacturing and selective machining for crane and construction machinery structures based on customer-owned designs and approved production documents.
The representative jib sections show a tubular lattice configuration produced as part of a machinery manufacturing programme. They are not universal crane accessories. Tube specifications, member positions, joint details, overall geometry, interface dimensions and load requirements must be defined by the equipment manufacturer.
Fabrication and dimensional control
Profiles and tubes are cut and prepared before assembly in fixtures that establish the main centre line and end-interface positions. A planned welding sequence supports distortion control across the long lattice structure. Connection bores and mounting features can be drilled or machined where required, followed by dimensional inspection and the specified protective coating.
Project controls can include:
- incoming material and section verification;
- fixture and drawing-revision management;
- joint preparation and weld inspection;
- straightness, length and interface alignment checks;
- pin-hole diameter, spacing and coaxiality verification;
- coating thickness and shipment protection.
Crane and lifting-equipment supply
The service is applicable to crane manufacturers and heavy-equipment companies sourcing jib sections, lattice extensions and related welded structures. Supply can be arranged for qualification samples, project batches or repeat production after the manufacturing route and quality plan are approved.
Send Realjet the drawings, material list, welding requirements, key tolerances, inspection level, paint system, quantity and delivery schedule. Our construction machinery machining and contract manufacturing service brings structural fabrication, interface machining, coating and final verification into a single managed scope.
