Explore the production lineGround-level trolley movement between stations
A friction-wheel drive moves a production trolley through contact with its drive interface. In a spun pile plant, the drive must be coordinated with the trolley load, transfer route and stopping positions.
The drive transfers force through contact with the trolley interface. The contact arrangement, load and travel route must be reviewed together so the system can move and position the trolley within the planned production sequence.
Configuration and integration
- Trolley contact surface and supported load
- Required driving force and travel speed
- Drive placement and station spacing
- Stopping, position sensing and control interfaces
Information for equipment selection
Trolley drawings, loaded mass, route layout, gradients, travel speed and stopping positions.
Selection questions
Is the friction-wheel drive a complete trolley?
No. The drive and the trolley are separate equipment items. The trolley frame, supports, wheels, travel path and contact surface must be reviewed together with the proposed drive.
What determines the number and location of drive units?
The transfer route, required driving force, contact arrangement and station spacing determine the layout. Positioning and stopping requirements must also be considered where trolleys move between shared work areas.
Supply and project coordination
Realjet can include the friction-wheel drive in a coordinated spun pile equipment package or review it for an existing production line. Equipment dimensions, capacity, controls and supply boundaries are confirmed against the project requirements before an equipment proposal is finalized.
