Chain conveyors built around the production interface

Industrial chain conveyors move heavy products, pallets or tooling between defined process positions. Realjet manufactures project-specific conveyor equipment and assemblies from customer drawings or an agreed design boundary, connecting fabricated frames, machined interfaces, purchased drive components and workshop assembly.

The representative conveyor shown is a delivered production-equipment reference. Conveyor length, load, speed, chain type, support arrangement and control interface are not standardised by the image; they are confirmed for the actual material-handling task.

Manufacturing and assembly scope

The supporting modules can be cut, formed and welded in fixtures before the mounting faces, bearing positions and connection holes are prepared. Chain tracks, sprockets, shafts, bearings, gearmotors, guards and sensors can then be installed within the agreed supply scope. Modular sections are checked for alignment so that site connection and commissioning can proceed efficiently.

Typical controls include:

  • frame straightness, level references and module connection geometry;
  • shaft, sprocket and bearing alignment;
  • chain engagement, tensioning range and running clearance;
  • drive mounting and guarding interfaces;
  • surface treatment of fabricated components;
  • no-load or agreed workshop trial inspection before shipment.

Custom chain conveyors can serve machinery assembly, steel-component transfer, mould movement, industrial finishing lines and other heavy-duty manufacturing processes. Projects may involve one conveyor module, a repeat equipment package or integration with surrounding production stations.
