Explore the production linePrestressing bar preparation before cage assembly
The PC bar processing machine cuts prestressing bars to length and forms the anchorage heads used in spun pile reinforcement. Cutting length and head geometry must be coordinated with the cage and end-plate drawings.
Cutting and heading are coordinated so that prepared bars fit the cage length and end anchorage arrangement. The bar material and head geometry should be reviewed together before selecting tooling and the processing sequence.
Configuration and integration
- Incoming PC bar diameter and material grade
- Cut length and length-change requirements
- Heading tooling and anchorage interface

Selection questions
Is this equipment for cutting, heading or both?
The equipment scope shown here combines bar cutting and heading. Incoming material handling, straightening and collection arrangements must be confirmed separately so that the proposed package matches the form in which bars arrive at the plant.
What determines the heading tooling?
Tooling is selected from the PC bar specification, required head geometry and anchorage details. A bar diameter alone is insufficient: the material condition and end connection must also be reviewed before a processing method is agreed.
Supply and project coordination
Realjet can include the pc bar processing machine in a coordinated spun pile equipment package or review it for an existing production line. Equipment dimensions, capacity, controls and supply boundaries are confirmed against the project requirements before an equipment proposal is finalized.
